I'm thrilled that the marketing campaign for my e-book The New Rules of PR was selected for MarketingSherpa's Viral Marketing Hall of Fame 2006.

Alert readers of this blog were the first to read the e-book. And as a result of many of you who posted links on your blogs, more than 60,000 people have downloaded the e-book. Now with the fame from MarketingShepa, even more people will hear about the e-book generating even more downloads: Around and around the viral whirlwind goes.

Here's a summary of the awards from the MarketingShepa site:

"Marketers of all stripes -- prepare to be inspired! MarketingSherpa's editorial staff reviewed nearly 100 detailed entries to pick the Top 12 viral marketing campaigns for our 2006 Hall of Fame.
