My essay - Gaijin Male Model - was published by The North American Review (the oldest literary magazine in the United States). As many writers know, sometimes you can suffer burnout from writing too much of the same thing. Sometimes I just write for fun, and sometimes the fun stuff is also published. “Fifteen years and a few pounds ago I was one of the first twenty-something gaijin models in Tokyo to specialize in the young businessman look.”
